A rip-off

A friend of mine recently got involved with a company called 2by2.net. Apparently they are THE next internet provider, cheaper & faster than aol. That might be true but they recruit people from the street to "very exclusive" meetings in fancy hotels, at the end of which they should pay $420 to become an "e-commerce-consultant".

The whole thing works like a pyramide (they claim it's not a scam since they have a product and not just the guy on top gets the money...), with every day "training" in dingy basement apartments. Since my friend joind he is acting very strange like he's in some kind of cult, trying to get everybody he knows to join and getting mad at friends if they don't. They say they are out to help people but there a major flaws in their presentation... Any ideas or experiences???
