Net Wizards DVD Media Suite Rip-off

This company advertises a software package that's "easy to use" and offers a money back guarantee if their software package doesn't work.in both cases, their advertisements are false!

I ordered the $69.95 software package on 12/24/01, and downloaded their suite of sofware packages (5 to be exact). For the next several days, my husband and I tried and tried to make the software work. We made it to the second step, and every time we tried to "rip a DVD", our computer locked up and crashed.

This was just the beginning of countless problems with the software. Not only was it not working on our computer, but technical support told us to download an "outside" program that, as we found out later, was illegal to use in the United States.

By 12/30/01 we were frusterated and had given up. We wrote the company to ask for our money back. On 12/31/01 they told us they were submitting a request for our refund to their "billing department". As of today, 1/20/02, we still have not received our refund. Not only that, but we have written the company 17 times to inquire about our refund, and they will not respond to us anymore.

It's obvious that they don't intend to give us a refund. We are now using all our efforts to "get the word out" about this company that takes advantage of people and steals their money. We are currently filing claims with every fraud company on the internet, and are in the process of taking legal action also.

We will not sit quietly while this company rips off hard working honest people like myself and my husband. They will either give my money back, or they'll hear from me as long as they stay in business.
