Infuriating - AT&T DSL

My Internet was turned off by someone I don't know without my permission because they gave the wrong address to AT&T evidently. It took me WEEKS to get this straightened out and HOURS on the phone. I spend hours on hold, got hung up on, cut off, called a liar, given promises that weren't kept, told someone would call me back and no one ever did. I FINALLY got it back one, and a few weeks later someone hacked my debit card and the bank stopped payment on it and issued a new card.in the meantime, ATT tried to draft my account for my monthly fee, and disconnected me because the draft didn't go through. I called to explain what happened and offered to get a letter from the bank etc. But it took more HOURS and time on the phone to get it back on. I put it back on bank draft and thought my nightmare was over, but AT&T DIDN"T DRAFT MY ACCOUNT and then disconnected me AGAIN. I spend MORE HOURS on the phone trying to get THIS straightened out and it took 2 weeks and over 8 hours total on the phone. Then they wanted me to put up a deposit because I'd been "disconnected multiple times". I finally found someone to agree to set up the draft without a deposit, and in the next week I got no less that 2 dozens letters by mail saying that I would have to put up a deposit to get my Internet back on or set my account up on bank draft EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF.
AT&T: The mark of the beast. 666
I live in the country and there IS NO OTHER DSL available or I would never use AT&T Internet service. I'm stuck with the beast. I despise them. They are pathetic. Did I say PATHETIC?
Ok. That felt good. Everyone can resume what they were doing.
