It will be cold day in hell before these people begin to understand the meaning of "Customer Service" or providing the services they agreed to provide

After an exhaustive search for a local web designer with a real address we could verify, instead of a web design company in another country, my company hired "Spinx WebDesigns", a local company in Glendale, CA to build a new site from a site we already had published. The task was relatively simple. Copy the design from our current site and build a new site using the same page design and form function.

Artin, the project manager provided me with a proposal listing milestones and delivery dates. I agreed. I even had a full time marketingcoordinator assigned to the task to ensure we would provide them with everything that Spinx would need to complete the project on time, but also in the event of any design or coding changes that may come up.

My first inkling of thing to go wrong was when Artin would now only deal with my employee instead of me, the guy who was writing the script and copy... And the guy who signed the checks. Not only did Spink not complete my site within the timeframe they agreed, Spinx in coping my other sites page design and coding, completely screwed up my original site, erasing over 20 pages of content, cross linked both sites, so the visitor did not know which site they were on, deleted or modified coding in their efforts to resolve my problem, and when they decided they were spending too much money with they contracted offshore programmers, began deliberately causing the site to fail, all the while blaming the hosting company, Network Solutions, managed VPS hosting, and finally refused to resolve the issue.

I have spent far more than the amount I paid them to "fix" the problems I have experienced with other programmers. The Spinx answer to this; "not our problem" and blame someone else.

I'm a commercial contractor. I provide construction services to 100's of clients monthly. When my client is unhappy with my service or the service of my subcontrator, I immediately resolve the issue. I also do not get paid in full when my job is late. Its never happened.in my industry, we dont get paid until the job is completed and all parties agree on the quality of the completed job - not Spinx, they not only want to be paid in full before they complete the work they contracted to perform, they also dont want to even repair the damage they caused. There are 1000's of other web design agencies to choose from. Spinx should not be one of your choices. No Customer service, No understanding of how bisiness should operate, and no ethics. I give Artin and Spinx an "F" rating.
