I am writing in response to aol.com. I went through the same situation as brandi from charlotte. I was also not told about sending in a proof of purchase receipt. So money was being drafted out of my bank account. I am in the process of retaining all cash monies that was drafted out of my account.
Also i fault dell. When they offer this promotion they don't tell you that have to send a receipt to aol. If these companies are in partner promotions with each other then they need to advertise it in the commercial for the sale of the computer. I think that if they did this it would resolve the whole problem and be less of a headache for the consumer.
