Unauthorized charges on my credit card, way hard to get a hold of. Atlants

I never even authorized the charge on my credit card in the 1st place. I just was checking out the website, I have no idea how they got my info. Then when I called to cancel my "subscription" that I never ordered, I couldn't get anyone on the phone. The automated system kept telling me to leave a message & someone will call me back. That was over a week ago. Then I finally got another phone number, that one just says thanks for calling and hangs up.
