Jhai Salvador Ripped off by a contract programme

I contracted this programmer through vWorker.com, a contract programming site. He is rated as follows: Located in Tibag, Tarlac City, Tarlac City, in Philippines and has 44 ratings. They are ranked 2,833 out of 378,591 (better than 99.25%). Sounds too good to be true.

While he was working and delivering the initial versions, his worked was exceptional. I did not want to pay him all at once so he proposed I pay as bonuses. As soon as I made the first bonus I was informed by vWorker the payment was not covered as it was a one-time payment. Because the programming work was so good, I decided to trust this programmer that he would complete the project.

He gave me an updated version which had features I had not mentioned. This led me to conclude he was giving me something he had written for some one else's specifications. Still, I said nothing. At least he started work, but then he started giving me stories about his child's health and asked for payment ahead of time. As soon as I paid him the final amount which totalled $610.00 US he did not answer any of my communications. I was supposed to deliver the product to an end user and did not have a working program or any ongoing support, so I had to refund the customer their money. I also finished up in the emergency from blood pressure and stress, partly caused by the uncertainly of never knowing when I would hear from this fellow again. I chose this programmer carefully because he was highly rated. But I guess he saw the chance to get the money and run without accountability, being he is in the Philippines. Now he has registered a business, I want to make sure anyone considering him, knows what he did to me. This programmer is a thief, so please do some searches before you employ him.

He recently registered www.silentprojectsoftwares.com, probably using my money. Once he got the Paypal payments as bonus payments through vWorker and I agreed he had delivered 100% they said there is nothing they can do. I just don't want anyone else to get caught by this person by warning people, I feel this is the best I can do. I can back up everything, plus I will make the chat logs public to anyone seriously considering this person.
