Very poor internet service. Charged $160 to terminate service early - Internet Service

I signed up for HughesNet internet service about a year and a half ago because I was told by HughesNet that they were superior to the only other internet service available in my area (Wild Blue). I started out with the lower tier service but it was totally inadequate. I went to the next level and it was a bit better so I thought I'd try the third level. It was no better but I stuck with it for many months. I was totally unable to look at anything on YouTube, work with pictures, open attachments, etc. I recently did switch to Wild Blue when they advertised a new 12 times faster service. I am very happy with Wild Blue and am paying much less. When I called HughesNet to discontinue my service, I was told I would pay a penalty for early termination. I have just sent in my $160 check. I was also told that they (HughesNet) suddenly now has a new 12 times faster service too! I am very disappointed that I am being required to pay the penalty after all these months of inadequate service.
