Fraudulent credit card charges

Just got our credit card bill and have found 4 fraudulent charges from Newegg on it. The charges range from $50 - $90. Never even knew this site existed. Looked up the site online and tried to use the reference numbers from the credit card report to identify the items purchased -none of the reference numbers existed. Called Newegg and spoke with representative. We asked the rep to explain to us what items the reference numbers referred to. The rep told us she could not tell us without us giving her our credit card number. We argued for a few minutes before we came to our senses and called our bank, who is being helpful but cautious about being able to refund our money.
