Billed My Account Twice A Month For At Least A Year Oregon IL

I have been an AOL customer for at least 7 years. Lately I have been very unhappy with the service. Then I found out that last month AOL took the monthly payment out of my account twice.

After researching, I found out that AOL has been charging my account twice a month, for at least a year.
Instead of paying $23.90 a month, I have been paying $47.80 a month. Now I know why checks keep bouncing and I can't get my account at the bank to register with my check book register.

So, not only have I been paying more than I should for AOL, I have also gotten hit with many NSF fee's, due to AOL taking out more than they should in my account.
How do I go about getting my money back from AOL? Plus I think they should pay me back for all the NSF fee's I have had to pay. AOL is the one that has messed up my account. They owe me $186.80 for the double billing and I have no idea how much in NSF fees!

When I call, I get nowhere. I am put on hold for a long time. Several times I have been disconnected. When a rep did answer, she wanted my debit card number, saying it was the only way she could check my account. Since I closed that account yesterday, I don't have the debit card number any longer.

I want to close my AOL account, but there too, I am given the run around.

AOL is a multimillion dollar company. They have to do a better job than this. How can they get away with all of this? They need to be held accountable. It's a case of the rich stealing from the little guys!
