I signed up for Verizon Business Internet as we are moving to a new office. When I finished my order, I was informed by email that the install date would be 10-6-11. I logged in to my account today to check status and it was changed to 10-11-11. I was never notified of this, and it wreaked havoc with all of the other scheduled tasks we have to move into the new office. I called Verizon to get an explanation and was "greeted" by a rude rep who was busy talking to her co-worker for the first minute after she she picked up the phone (while I kept repeating "Hello, " until she answered). She told me that all installations were pushed two weeks out. I understand that schedules change (I work in a service industry as well), but I should be clearly informed when an appointment changes. Not only that, I would have hoped that a business customer moving into a new facility would get some kind of priority service since they have no existing Internet connection yet.
