I purchased a $10 CVS gift card from Savemore.com for $5 in November. I was told it would be redeemable online a week later. I tried to redeem the online voucher two weeks later only to find that the link they provided was broken.
When I contacted customer service in early January, having given them a few weeks, thinking maybe they were behind because of the holidays, I received one email saying there were technical issues and it would be resolved by their 'IT department' within 1-2 weeks.
One week passed. Two weeks passed. Three weeks after their original email, the link still wasn't working, so I sent another email, requesting a refund, with no response. When I started researching the company further, I discovered that hundreds of people have been scammed out of their money. I have been emailing them daily, posting on their facebook wall and commenting on their website, requesting a refund for the last month, with absolutely no response.
It might just be $5 for me, but the fact that they have swindled so many people is absolutely outrageous and I can't believe that action hasn't been taken on a company that continues to commit fraud.
