Phillip White 1/2 price website scam to get your money

I inquired about an elliptical machine for sale listed in the Charlotte, NC craigslist. After several days, I received an email from a Phillip White (phone - 205-500-9714) with a link to HalfPriceBazaar.com where I could view the elliptical machine.

The website looked professional and listed deeply discounted exercise equipment for sale. After adding the item to my cart and clicking on "ready to check out", I was asked to register my name and address to start an account.

It said payment must be made with a green dot moneypak and the item would be shipped from their Birmingham, AL warehouse.

I looked up all the Phillip White's in the Birmingham phone book and found only one with a working phone number. When I called the number and asked about Phillip White and HalfPriceBaZaar, the women that answered said her husband, Phillip White had responded to an Craigslit ad last week also and decided to not make a purchase. Now they have learned that someone is using her husbands identity for internet fraud.
