Is installing programs on my comp without my permission ripoff

It seems Twain-Tech doesn't know when to stop when people tell them to.

I sent a complaint to Twain-Tech about their twaint. Dll program being installed on my computer without my permission, asking them to either remove the program and the related registry keys, etc. That are installed with it, or else include a prompt asking user whether they wish to download the program.

However... instead of a response, every 24 hours, I get a message from Spyware Guard saying that twaint. Dll has been blocked, and THEN I have to go into my spyware removal programs and remove all the registry keys and other junk that were downloaded into my comp.

I have no choice but to force the issue and file a complaint against Twain-Tech. Anyone know a good place to go to file such a complaint?
