Ripoff-Failed to send advertised gift Thanks for the venue to vent

Internet & Web

I found their web site advertising "Get a Credit Card&Get a Gift".

I signed up for a Discover card and recieved the card in November.in Feburary of 2004 I sent them an e-mail asking where the DVD player was that they said they would send me because I had complied with all of the rules.

After several e-mails back and forth, they said if I could send them a statement to prove that I had a Discover Card they would review my account. After they recieved a bunch of copies that I had printed out when I applied for the card, they now say that the statement copy I sent them was for December '03 and that I didn't sign up with them untill Feburary '04.

Thanks for letting me get this off my chest, I have been ripped off so many times that it hurts more now than it used too.
