Is a rip-off

I joined www.bannertraders.com in hopes of getting some valuable traffic in return. They claim to ban "banner farms", sites which dont really have any content, only banners. They also claim that your banners will not appear on pages with porn advertisements.

First of all if you have a decent website you will accumulate credits at least 3 of 4 times faster than you can spend them, and if you remove their code from you site you will lose your credits. Hence you will never be able to use the majority of your credits.

The vast majority of your banners will appear on websites that are nothing but "banner farms" or otherwise worthless. I cant imaging anyone visiting these sites except other banner exchange members.

I tried contacting bannertraders.com on several occasions, but never got any response from them. Also on many occassions my banner appeared on pages that were advertising porn. Basically they have little or no control over their system, or they are out right liars.

I never once saw my banner advertised on a website that I would consider to be of any value. From what I can remember the site which my banner appeared on the most times was a convict dating service run from inside the prison.
