Sims 3 and expansion packs not compatible with Mac, no fixes acknowledged

The Sims 3 and all of its expansion packs are not compatible with Mac computers, whether it's the operating system, the video card or both. The company/game forum is loaded with complaints, and EA has not addressed any of the issues. The company continually releases patches for Windows users, but all Mac players are left with $100-$1000 worth of games that cannot be played. Graphics are choppy, discolored, games freeze, crash, or don't even load at all. The only recommendations the company has offered is to re-install the game. This is something that I, along with hundreds of others, have already done and it does not help.

The forums have designated "gurus" that are supposed to address issues players posts. These gurus have abandoned the mac discussion pages since July of this year. Since then, a new pets expansion packs has been released, with all of the same issues. Nothing has been fixed, or even acknowledged.
