Don't waste your money

This is by far the worst course I have ever seen. The course consists of a number of poorly scanned pages that make up the booklet and a host of MP3 files. The files do not correspond to the booklet and there is no guidance to take you through the course. The style of teaching is through repetition, a teaching style that is archaic and relatively ineffective. The course dates from 1989 and fails to embrace any modern teaching techniques.

The information on the website is misleading and is contradictory to the foreword of the notes supplied. The foreword in the course notes states the following “The Czech FAST course was designed as an eight week introductory course for employees and dependants with imminent assignments to Czechoslovakia who are unable to take the regular 44-week Czech Basic Course. It should be noted that the FAST Course does not attempt to present a systematic can comprehensive introduction to the Czech grammar; instead bits and pieces of the grammar are practiced and explained as they appear naturally in the dialogues”
