Because my daughter needed to change her previous provider due to being estranged from an abusive husband and divorce, she went to a Verizon store in Billings, MT. Contacting me the salesman granted permission for my daughter to purchase phone number and then had to return to same store to gain internet access by use of a card. At NO time did I ever sign anything.

All billing went to daughter in Montana. Because of the situation she was under she was terminated from her job.in Nov. Of '08 I was contacted by a girl named Stacy from Mission Hills, CA requesting payment of $363.42 which I agreed to pay a certain amount for 6 months. I was given account # which found to be incorrect; I was notified of NOT paying amount due. I had my bank FAX copy of check. This happened 3 times even though I had made payment on time.

Then I receive notices from collection agency stating I owe 301.22. On my final check I sent I wrote Paid In Full which they cashed. Then I come to find out that this company has charged WI State Sales Tax and La Crosse City Sales Tax on a phone that has NEVER been used in WI and was charged early termination fee (s) which I never terminated as they terminated her after saying this amount was not paid which it was.

I have written numerous letters to Verizon, the numerous collection agencies, to all credit bureaus, to the FCC, have been to an attorney who wrote letter w/no response, utilized Chase Protection to act on my behalf, have been told this would be taken off my and my daughter's credit, but then come to find out I must submit again all the paperwork I have sent to many of these places the information provided as to why I dispute this. I fullfilled the agreement made in Nov. Of '08. I want this removed NOW! What they are doing is wrong! I refuse to pay one dime more to Verizon. They are a ripoff!
