Ripoff multiple unauthorized debits from account

Internet & Web

In July I signed up for membership with cheaptickets and after discovering that there were cheaper tickets elsewhere, I called to cancel the next week. The representative told me that that they needed the correct expiration date on my debit/credit card because it didn't go through. I gave him the correct expiration date and I to1d him that I was calling to cancel. (30 days to cancel membership)

He told me since it was declined, I didn't have to worry about cancelling. So, 3 months later in October cheaptrips deducted $27 from my checking account without notifying me of anything. I called and they told me that once I get the membership kit and refund application in the mail, to fill it out and return it to them and I would get the refund.

It took a week for me to get the documents and 5 weeks for me to get my refund. I had to harass them via email to get it.

Now it happened again on February 3. This time they deducted $49 and made my account overdrafted three times for transactions I had already made that had not posted to my account before cheaptrips did. My account is $-137.00
