The company ordered web portal and after I completed it increased the scope of the project saying they will pay only if I make the site automated in full

The president of the company, Arvind Bhargava, ordered an e-commerce store portal for their e-commerce store.
First they paid $600 deposit from $4000.

After I created site in 80% he refuses to release the second payment in $1400 untill I make the site completed.
After working on the site an additional month and completing it up to 95% he told me since the site was based on Open source software he didn't see sense to pay me in full and asked to add features like automate all prices update, and make it changed individually, amd add template systems. But I think the most important is after I agreed to add these features and just asked after working on the site for them for 1.5 month for $600 from $4000 just to make the second payment they told me - "we want you make everything first and we will think if it would be exactly what we want.."

The site which i customised for them and wrote additional functionalities were in our agreement while they started asking more.
