Binverse, Incorporated
Binverse.com Malicious Billing Practices - Unavoidable Trial Payment

Internet & Web

I signed up for the Binverse service under a trial account, (3 days) entering the required payment information to be charged if I exceed my trial period. After several hours of account issues I was unable to use the service and promptly canceled my account using their web system.

A review of my bank account showed a $3 pending charge.

The next day I received an email stating that my payment had processed and my account had been reactivated. I in no way authorized any of the charges or the reactivation of my account.

A review of my account on their web page showed that my trial account was re-enabled and I was now signed up for a far more expensive payment plan that I selected for my trial. I would be charged 99$ if my account wasn't re-canceled in the next 24 hours.

Attempts to re-cancel my account through their web page system and via customer support email were unsuccessful and the emails went unanswered. I was forced to contact my bank to request my debit card be disabled to avoid the $99 charge.
