Mike Freeman, President PCH
Issued a letter suggesting I had won $2,600, 000 from Publishers Clearing House when in fact I never enter PCH

Internet & Web

I was mailed a letter with a Canadian stamp. When I opened the letter, the letterhead suggested it was from PCH or Publisher's Clearing and I had won a grand prize of $2,600, 000 with a winning number of 383708.

This is how the letter is typed:

On behalf of all the staff and executives at the Publishers Clearing House, we sincerely extend our congratulations on your grand prize winnings of {$2,600, 000.00} Two Million and Six Hundred Thousand Dollars. We have many post winning services such as financial and legal advisors that can assist you in managing your winnings.

Payment Arrangements: Your payment will be processed and must leave our office within 5 business days of opening your file. Please contact immediately, the lotto office branch and speak to your winnings claims agent Frank Lewis at:

1-888-492-1292 ext: 101 or 1-604-721-4809 fax: 0872-110-5371
for method of payment. Let your agent know your best choice of payment. You are eligible for a lump sum payout to your preferred bank account. Hence forth, the Global Financial Trust Bank of America (GFTBA) will be handling your file.

Do not act on this notice until you have contacted your CLAIMS AGENT (Fank Lewis) who will advise you on how to claim your winnings.
To avoid delays you must keep this award CONFIDENTIAL until you claim is processed and money is remitted into your account. This is to protect the security of this highly sensitive financial transaction and to eliminate the potential for duplicate or fradulent claims.

Best Regards,

Mike Freeman
President, PCH

That was the letter, I purposely typo'ed Fank Lewis because that is how it was in the letter. Please be careful and do not find yourselves exposed to this type of scam. We all are living in very tough financial times and there are several predators that will take advantage of that.
