This report is to make future buyers aware of what they are getting into. If you are reading this site then you must be doing your homework before buying a puppy and you can cross this breeder off your list. I know the pictures are cute and the puppies look fine, but you will be taking a huge risk and placing yourself in a situation of increased vet bills (mine were about $1500) and emotional distress.

I bought a puppy from Myspoiledpuppy and she was shipped to me through air travel. We had her checked out immediately and she seemed fine, but we did notice green discharge form her nose, bumps on her abdomen, and diarhea. We followed all of the rules given by Joe Lozano and the vet. Two days later we noticed she was not acting right and was taken back to the vet. She had a very high temperature, pneumonia, and a collapsed lung. We began to be suspicious that she might have distemper. She was hospitalized and tested for distemper. Within one week of having her, there was a positive result for distemper.

I had read other reports of this occurring with puppies from this breeder, so I did not bother contacting him. There was no way I was sending this puppy back to him. We aggressively treated this precious little puppy and she did improve after five long weeks of treatment. We thought we had dodged a bullet when it all came crashing down at 16 weeks of age. The neurological stage hit with a vengance and the seizures were unrelentless. Lucy couldn't make it. We learned a lesson the hard way. There is NO reason a puppy should have this horrible death sentence called DISTEMPER! A legitimate breeder would never allow this.
