Cougarlife.com got me to make a free profile, then after I sign up the next day a bunch of women who pretend to be from my neighborhood write to me. Only I can't read the slew of emails until I join. All of the pricing is misleading. I signed on for 40 dollars for one month but after 10 days I realize I had been had. I called to cancel the site because unlike real dating sites they let you cancel online, Cougarlife makes you call a 800 number where they lady answers only as billing—no name.

I did not know it was arecuring charge so I figured if I canceled 2 weeks early it would give CL the time to cancel without getting charged for another month. The lady on the phone was real rude and I was expecting trouble so I recorded the phone call. She kept saying she could not hear me and the PC's were down and she could not find my account—when the whole time I was logged on to the site and could see my profile. After I told the lady she was stalling she said she found my account—then she offered a half month for next month when I said I already found somebody on another site.

Then she said I was fiesty and she pretended to cancel my account. I know this because I can still log on. I resolved the situation by canceling my VISA and having them send me another so they can't charge for the next month. IF YOU READ THE LEGALEASE IT SAYS YOU MUST CANCEL IN WRITING BUT THE ADDRESS ON THE SITE IS IN LONDON.

Any don't join this or any other site without doing your homework first. Most of the women on the site own porno web sites and they will lure you of the site and want to sign up for webcam membership for a lot of money! I only wanted to meet one women who lived close to me and it ends up being a scam site.
