Fulltilt Poker
Online gambling

Internet & Web

Fulltilt Poker is an online gambling website and with any gambling company it should be implied that you take the most caution with whatever actions you take. Thankfully this is what I did. I want to inform you of my experience and let you decide what your perspective of this and similar companies should be.

First, let me make it clear that I understand the game of Poker very well even just from a few weeks of observation. I am a gamer and a programmer and have played many many games and when I came across Poker I viewed it as a weak and primitive game that could be easily dominated and I was correct. Most players overestimate the values of their hands and this is where you make your profit. If you ask any "professional" poker player or read questions asked to them about how the feel about being a professional, they will tell you that they don't believe it and this is rightly so because Poker is largely a game of chance and how much money you're willing to lose in order to gain some if you do win. They are only professional because it is how they make their living. I will burst some people's ego bubbles, but there is very little to no skill involved in Poker.

A lot of people have complained about the random number generator used by the system and I can say after observing every hand played something isn't right about it and question at times if it is random. You will notice how you will be begin being dealt hands you typically bet the most on. The system doesn't care if you're bluffing. I wanted to analyze this and would sit at a table and just fold every hand I was given and observe what would happen. Do this and you'll be surprised. When you fold hands, you'll be enticed into playing by the system because it will give you cards favoring you on the flop and sometimes give you the "nut" on the river, but typically not when you play them. I have even been dealt and seen the same hands on the table, although of different suits, more than three times in a row including pocket aces and straights. Of course with the random number generator, you're more likely to see things you wouldn't in a hand shuffled deck, but a majority of the times everything feels set up and fake. Observe their game system and don't focus on winning or losing, just observe what happens, you'll be surprised.

After playing for free I wanted to add a few fun dollars and see if I could make a profit and if not I had fun anyway and wouldn't deposit any more. I made an initial deposit of $10 via QuickDeposit and was notified by email and at the deposit window that the transaction occurred successfully. I checked my bank information every day and never saw any history of such a transaction and assumed there was some delay. Being a little more cautious after making this stupid transaction I removed my personal information and the deposit method.

I played for a few days and lost about four dollars, but regained almost three in a single sitting.

A few days after the deposit and when my information and luck had changed I was notified by email that the deposit failed due to invalid account information, not bank information, and my account was now restricted to playing and withdrawal and wouldn't be able to play until the money was added. Ok, fine the money never was taken out, but how could the transaction have been successful in the first place if the information was incorrect? I should have been notified at the time of submission of my information if it was incorrect, but it claimed it was successful. This is no longer my responsbility, but whoever or whatever QuickDeposit is and they scammed Fulltilt out of $10. Perhaps this has nothing to do with Fulltilt, but if they can't even find a reliable source for making business transactions when they're moving around so much money, they got what they deserve.
