My Amex (Costco, TrueEarnings Card) was charged $141.31 by this Europe base online dating company called MEETIC.com through BIBIT Internet Payment. (sounds very similar to Report #481173 and #492149.)
It took me few days to notice, and when I find out and about to call Amex's Fraud Department, I got an alert eMail from Amex saying that BIBIT is trying to charge me another $42.90...!
The rep told me this kind of fraud happens on any type of card. Reeeally...? I've been using credit cards for a looong time, but never happen to me till I opened up this card 2 months ago... I think Amex, particularly Costco version has a security issue...? ]
