I purchased a jeopardy CD rom game for my husband as a Christmas present from Starvector, based in Yakima, Washington. I was informed that the company shipped internationally and that its shipping charge was $4.95. I ordered the disc and requested that it be shipped to England where I live. I received an E mail after my order was placed informing me that air mail shipping would be an additional charge. I asked by return e mail how long each type of shipping would take. After some time the response came that " air mail is two to three weeksquicker." Quicker than what, was never mentioned. After another attempt to get proper shipping information, I gave up on international shipping and requested that they ship the item to my US address. They indicated that the item would arrive within the week. The item did not arrive for several weeks and was too late for Christmas. I then decided to wait and give it to my husband for Valentine's Day. I put the disc away until February. The week before Valentine's Day, I decided to try the game out in advance. I noticed that the disc did not come with a box, which is how the game is packaged in stores.in fact I was sent only the plastic CD rom holder which was not sealed or taped in any way. When I tried to play the game, nothing happened. I asked Starvector for advice, but received none. I then indicated that it appeared that the item had been previously returned and as I could not get a replacement in time for Valentine's Day, and in light of all of the hassle dealing with this company had been to date, I requested a refund. I was told by Starvector that they would not give me a refund. I do not want a credit or exchange. I never want to deal with this company again and strongly urge all consumers to do the same. These kind of businesses do not deserve your custom.
