Ripoff won't cancel service Bad bad bad service and way of treating customers. Jacksonville Internet

I wanted to cancel my walmart internet service. So I went to their web site and couldn't find a phone number for cancelling. I then e-mailed them stating that I wished to cancel. That was aprox. 6-8 months ago.

They have still been billing my bank account. Also they do not list their phone number on your bank statement like ALL other companies do. So I called my bank to tell them to stop paying the bill because I had cancelled, the bank said they couldn't do that and I would have to contact Walmart. I asked the bank if they had a number, well to know suprise they did not.

I then e-mailed walmart again and told them to please cancel my account and give me a credit, I have not used the service in 6 months!

I then get my next bank statement only to see 9.95 charge again! I then recieved a response to my e-mail stating that you cannot cancel via e-mail you have to call or write a letter (this is an internet service provider mind you).

So by this time I'm irritated but they did supply me with a phone number to call, so I figured the friendly rep would just cancel it and refund these months that I have not used. Well no she says, they will not refund my account and if I don't like it that I can write a letter to their corporate office because she is a supervisor and their is no one to talk to there that would be above her.

BEWARE of this type of desperate business that traps you into keeping your service! The rep even had the gall to ask me if I wanted to use the rest of the month since I had already paid for it! Bad bad bad service and way of treating customers. I now have Charter pipeline and yahoo. Very very fast and good service!
