Membership ripoff

THis company advertises lifetime file downloads for $26.65 but after you have ordered and received your credit card info it turns out to be $105.95. When I asked why, I was informed that in their terms and conditions it spelled out that there were various other services that you were being charged for. Nothing in their checkout specified anything other than the $26.65 and the only thing I received from them was an email telling me how to use the service, nothing about what I bought or the total cost. Thankfully my credit card company called me about the charge and I informed them that the only charge I had made on that day was to this company for $26.65. The Credit card company informed me about the total amount but it was from a company that I never heard of. The Credit card had no charges from Files Freedom nor any charge matching the $26.65 amount. The credut card company informed me that they would deny the charge but of course my credit card number had to be destroyed and that a new card would be forthcoming in about 5 business days. Luckily I didn't get stung for the fraudulent amount but it still is a big hassle to go through having your account cancelled and having to wait for a new one to be issued.
