Mygenevawatch.com Scam Artist, Bait and Switch, Internet Fraud, Unauthorized use of debit card

These people are scam artist in the worst sort of way. They fail to give you the information you need to cancel the "free trials and clubs" that you have inadvertantly signed up for.
This all began with a visit to ebay.com, at the end of my ebay visit a web page poped up on my browser, it had ebay.com on it and ask me to complete a short survey. Well as I found out it wasn't ebay at all. I did the survey and it offeredme a "free" gift of a geneva watch for a small shipping and handleing fee, $1 plus $4.99.
As I stated before accepting this "free" gift and giving them a card number to use for the shipping, gets you enrolled in a number of "free trial and club offers". This is a guarentee that they will use and abuse your card untill you cancel it.
I was billed two different times, the first by CLUBH in Virginia. I couls never find any more information on these people. The second time by mygenevawatch.com, for the amount of $39.99 by CLUBH and $89.99 for mygenevawatch.com.
I got information from this web site as to what to tell the people at my bank so they would take me serious. When I first contacted the bank I was mostly just blown off. But when I went there in person and started asking for forms and addresses for bank regulators, and card issuers, I was treated much differently. Needless to say I did in fact get all my money back, and did cancel my debit card.
This all started in mid to late January, and as of mid February I am still getting calls saying my shipment is ready and they have my card number, and address. When I get these calls I am more than happy to tell these theives that they don't have anything worth while.
I have filed a complaint with the FTC, the Atourney General in California and Virginia. I encourage everyone that has been scamed by these people to stay dilligent with your bank and file complaints. Maybe someone will shut them down before long.
As an after thought the original pop up that caused all the trouble was adware by gamevance. Super anti spyware free edition will take care of it and a lot of other trash on your computer.
People like this give all internet trade a bad name, and need to be SHUT DOWN.
