Clear Deceptive repair tactics Milton

Internet & Web

I called repeatedly Clear technical support when I first received the home service. They seemed to always come up with a solution to fix my connection problems and then after the call within a relatively short period of time I was back with "no-connectivity" issues. I was calling about every other day. It got so bad that I had four lights out of five on the modem lit but was still receiving no connection to the internet. There was no correlation.

Anyway, because I am a grad student taking classes on-line I had to have internet access so I switched to Verizon which I've had in the past. I contacted Clear and informed them that I wanted to cancel the service because of inconsistencies. I was informed I would have to pay 120.00 for a cancellation fee for a contract which I don't remember signing. Anyway, in order to cancel they want to send a technician to my home in a few days to verify my claims. I have tested the modem and now it seems to work.

It seems like the old three card monte trick where they shift appropriate service to those who complain to appease them and then shift bandwidth service when it suits their needs. An appropriate number of lawyers and engineers need to discover how they are pulling off this deception on the public. I would be more than willing to join in a class action law suit against their deceptive operating practices.
