ECSuite Unauthorized debit card use (with a twist) Arizona

Internet & Web

Last year I hastily purchased this corrupt software hoping it would do as advertised and clean up my pc. Of course it did not... It just added more malware, and I stupidly paid $ 49.95 for it. Upon purchasing the software I did not get the authorization code as promised, so I sent an e-mail / ticket expressing my concern. I promptly received an e-mail with my authorization code so that I could run my corrupt software. After realizing that it did nothing but make my pc worse the sirens finally went off. I googled for complaints on this software (which I should have done beforehand duh!) and found out I had been scammed. It must have taken ages for me to google and successfully find a working customer support number for these scammers, and when I did I called. The phone rang about 16 times then a man answered, I told him I was not satified w / what I had just purchased since it was malware garbage and demanded a refund. His EXACT words to me were... You got what you paid for! I told him he had better cancel anything attached to my name etc and lose my card number. I chalked it up to a lesson learned at that point and went to the bank the next morning and canceled my debit card and had a new number issued. So here's the kicker... Just yesterday (a year after this intially happened) I was checking my bank acct online and noticed a charge for $ 49.95 from ECSUITE! Not only did I NOT authorize these scammers to charge me for ANYTHING since I clearly stated last year to cancel and lose my info, but I have actually had 2 different debit card numbers since they intially scammed me. So I pose this question... How did they get my current debit card number??? I am puzzled. It's beyond creepy. They had attached a telephone number next to the purchase on my bank statement so I called, told them I didnt order or authorize anything and the agreed to void the transaction and sent me a cancellation invoice to my e-mail. Of course I had to cancel my card again! BUT... It doesnt seems to matter because the still charged my new number anyway??? Hopefully this nightmare doesnt repeat itself again next year. Good Luck and beware. This is the current phone number I have for them in case someone needs it, I just called it yesterday 12/28 888-736-6475

Sneaky addition of a charge not mentioned in the website for a "bonus." Also a non-existent email address for a refund. They now have my VISA card number and info to charge whatever they want to my account if I'm not vigilant enough on debit card charges!
