A real ripoff company on credit card renewals

I signed up for their "gold" membership at an introductory rate of $9.95 for a year. Apparently there is a default where they automatically renew your membership after 1 year at the "non-introductory" rate of $39.95. However, they give you NO notification that a charge is going to be made and you only find out when you look at your credit card bill. All other web companies that i deal with give you warning that your card is going to be charged for services before the charge is made. That way you can opt out before the charge is made. I am currently fighting this through my credit card company to get the charge rescinded as classmates.com basically told me "it's your tough luck". Stay away from classmates.com and delete any and all credit card information that they may have on file for you.
