Windows pop up alerting me of several viruses that could be easily removed if I provided credit card

I only found that I was scammed through my 18 year old son. After I downloaded the so called "Anti-Virus" program for $108.00 cdn I thought it was weird I kept getting notices to update my MCFEE Anti-Virus program.
I figured I could delete McFee because I just paid 89.99 U.S. For a two year contract on this internet offer. When I couldn't delete McFee and it kept asking me to update I got worried.
I have called my credit card company and apparently because no goods were received I MIGHT be able to get my money back but I have to file a report and it could take 4-6 weeks.
