Security Scan blocking the internet, claimed to have 20-47 viruses, would not stop popping up until i bought it na

On December 13th, the only programs I downloaded was Adobe updater and Google Desktop. One of these had a pop-up. I hit it because I thought it was a reputable source. Then this Security Scan started popping up, I thought my virus protection had failed and that I had 20-47 viruses threatening to steal my credit card information. I had a bank card that didn't have much money left in it, so I ordered this Security Scan for $49.99. I immediately thought it was fishy because they didn't send an e-mail or a license key as said. They didn't leave a phone number or address. I figured I had been scammed. Called the bank immediately and cancelled my card. As soon as it clears I can report fraud to my bank and get reimbursed. But I would really like a contact to put these people away.
