A seemingly legit Security program appeared on my computer on December 26, it informed me that my computer had been infected and was locked up with with a serious Trojan virus.
It instructed me to purchase their product and use it to scan my computer. I used my bank card and divulged all my personal information to purchase the bogus Security software and I let it scan my computer. Their icon then appeared on my desktop and their homepage also appeared on my computer at startup.
The entire process seemed bogus to me so I looked them up and ran into all the scam blogs against them. I went back home tried to remove them from my computer by all I found was an icon to files. I installed another software to clean it up, it recognized it as malicious virus and now doesn't show in my computer.
However Im scared because I used my bank card and personal info to purchase that program. They got me for $49.95 U.S. For a two year contract charged by REALGOLDSOFT BAKU.
The order information did not stay on the screen long enough for me to print it therefore I do not have confirmation details and neither did I receive an email from them confirming my order. I am in the process of canceling my bank account to protect it. I am also worried about all the other information I stupidly provided such as my name, address etc.
