Deceptive sales practices - You do NOT get what you pay for Internet

I went with CLEAR WiMax 4G service for my home internet service. I signed up for the $30.00 $4.99 modem rental per month. For that, I am supposed to get WiMAX Fast Home Internet 3.0M downlink, 500K uplink. Here's what they DON'T TELL YOU ANYWHERE. What you pay for, you will never get. I am paying for the maximum speed that I might get. Their level of acceptable service, which is stated NOWHERE is that as long as your speed falls into their ranges which are less than 2.5 for download and less that 4.5 for upload, than, in their opinion, you are getting what you paid for and that is the end of that. The manager of Technical support who will only give his first name as Prince and will neither give his last name, nor will he give you a direct method contact to him, admitted that they failed to disclose the levels of acceptable service. That is like going to buy a gallon of milk, only receiving a 1/2 gallon and being told that they are within their right to only sell you a 1/2 gallon at the 1 gallon price. You can measure your speed with them but they will only accept speeds through their own speed check provider and any other speed check provider is considered unacceptable. They will have you do the speed check 3 times, average the 3 and then tell you if it falls within their acceptable levels. My download was at 2.4 and my upload was at. 47 even though I am paying for 3 down and 500 up. They consider that acceptable. A few hours later I ran the tests again and all of my speed tests for download were in the mid to high 1's (168,174, 194 for download and. 48 upload). Again, my plan is for 3 down and 500 up. So their down is even below their own standards. If you want and expect to get what you pay for and you don't want to be deceived, stay far away from CLEAR.
