Driver Left Door Tag Without Ringing Bell for Two Packages

I was expecting 2 packages from FedEx today. Lo and behold, I signed on to the FedEx web site to track them and noticed that they just came by. The driver didn't even bother to ring the doorbell. Am I supposed to listen for the arriving truck? I know this is a very busy time for them, but the least they can do is ring the doorbell and wait for a few seconds instead of just leaving the door tag.

Maybe this is their way to tell you that they expect you to pick up the packages instead! No wonder the drivers are not FedEx employees. This is the "quality" service that FedEx provides.
