I recently used godaddy to backorder a domain name that was about to be available. A couple weeks after i paid $18.99 for this service i recieved a email saying that another company "wild west domains" had recieved right to the domain. Wild West domains is a company afilliated with godaddy. Im sure these sneaky b*s are doing this leagally but it is definitly a rip off. Nowhere (reasonably visible) on godaddys site did it say i was paying 18.99 to compete for the domain name. It definitly didnt talk about competing directly with godaddy! I have used godaddy for a long time, and ive watched them turn into a very greedy, greedy company. I wont be using them ever again.
