Consumer fraud ripoff, took my money and still no computer to date

I heard about Financing Alternatives over the radio, I called and asked about their company. They took my information. I spoke to a sales manager explaining to him what I need the computer for, I was starting a buisness from home and would need a great computer to get me started.

He agreed and said whatever I wanted could be done, at no point did he say it would cost me an extra $800.00 to get the upgrade I wanted, this little bit of information I found out afterwards. I gave my information and asked for breakdown in writing before money was to be taken out of my account, sure enough the letter came after the date the money came of the account, since then I have been talking to representatives that cannot help me, I also e-mailed the Ceo of the company Mr. George Christian.

A few days later a manager called me, she explained that it was a misunderstanding on my part and the sales people do not have a clue on how much the upgrades should be. I inquired about closing my account and was told there is a no refund policy and I would not get my deposit back, which at this point was now $629.00. My choices were to close my account and fight with arbitration over it or have them upgrade my computer and pay the extra money.

Since I did not want to lose the money that was already paid I had no choice but to agree to pay the extra and according to Antoinette the manager I would be happy with my upgrades and freebies they were giving me.

Today is July 7 I still do not have a computer, the money started coming out of my account on April 4, I have since been charged 7 payments because in order to get a computer in the first place you have to put 3 payments down.

I have again spoken to the manager and the answer is my computer will be mailed out this Friday, July 11. As of today this company has taken $1027.00 out of my account and still has not shipped me a computer. Mind you the total cost of this computer and its upgrades is costing $2763.00, you would think for this amount of money Financing Alternatives would treat it's customers better.

As a first time buyer for a computer it has been a horrible expierience for me using this company.
