Ok... I consider myself a pretty smart person and a savvy businessperson... But NOT last night!!! Stupid, stupid, STUPID ME was in such ablood lust search for a movie called Grey Gardens... Thinking I couldjoin one of the download rent sites and I came up this place...

So I clicked it, decided to find out more, decided hey, I'll join...
ITS A MAJOR SCAM!!! Scam!!! But... Before I came to that conclusion, I joined... All excited about watching GREY GARDENS!!!
So I pay 39.95 for the year thinking sweet (!) I have access to moviesand all this... They gave me a password to their 'members only area'which basically was links to a bunch of free P2P software... Note ITSFREE! So then what did I pay for then? The software free... But the filesharing act ISN'T! It's illegal!!!
So I start thinking... What they hell did I pay for last night? Feltlike i had an unsatisfying cheap, dirty one night stand! Got on thecomputer and I'm still mystified... I paid literally for nothing andnow. They have my info. I go to their customer support link... No phonenumber only an email. I emailed and asked for my money back andthought... I am sure I'll never hear from them though. I looked at myreceipt I printed last night (thank GOD) that reflects the debit fromMY BANK CARD... There's a number... I call... I get some bad speakingIndian guy named... Wait for it... Wait... PAUL!!! Yes, an Indian guy named PAUL. Not Sanjeep, Sanjay, Deepak... But PAUL! He told me what they sell is not illegal. I told him I wanted my moneyback... He again tried the hard sell and asked why I was upset... I toldhim this is NOT what I thought I was getting... I would like my money back. Please! He said he would send an email to the business desk and I should hearfrom them in a week! Whaaat??? Send an EMAIL!!! I can do THAT!
FORGET THAT!!! They can drain my account in a week!!!
I very quickly called the customer support line for my bank and toldthem I was an idiot... Explained what I did, explained how I tried tocontact this 'company', explained why I am nervous... Long story short, they are filing a dispute on the charge, freezing my account as of THATmoment so I don't get charged more erroneous charges and I will get anew card in a week...
I just want you others to be aware...
