As a new "client" to PayLoadz, I received an email from someone who purchased my ebook via PayLoadz. They paid the fee but were unable to download the book. To keep the customer from waiting, I sent it to him myself and attempted to communicate the problem with PayLoadz who at first failed to respond, and after multiple attempts on my part, sent an email that had absolutely nothing to do with resolving the issue.
I had just upgraded and paid a monthly fee so after no assistance and no response I filed a complaint with PayPal. My monthly fee was refunded and PayLoadz immediately canceled my account. When I contacted them regarding payment for the ebook sold I heard nothing back. After more attempts I was told that I had to earn a certain amount before they will send payment. Considering they canceled my account I was clearly not going to reach that minimum amount and was screwed out of what was owed me. Multiple attempts since have been made on my part requesting resolution but they have been ignored.
The amount owed me is not much, but it is the principle. The non-professionalism and lack of integrity of PayLoadz and its owner is more than disappointing. Considering his business is located on Park Avenue, I would think he could afford to pay out the measly amount he owes... Or perhaps that was how he made it to Park Ave... By unethical business practices that trod on the little guy.
