LWG Data Recover They pulled a bait and switch by promising to recover my data for $600 and then sayint it would be $1800

I called LWG and talked to a guy named Matt to discuss what it would cost to get my data off a crashed hard drive. We talked and discussed in depth the differences in removing the data if the hard drive needed physical repair.

The next day, Mike called to tell me the normal procedures woudlnt' work, but not to worry, there is no way it would cost more than $600 to get my data because Matt's word is "gold."

Today they called and told me that the $600 quote was not true, instead it could be up to $1800 to get my data. They claimed their original quote was not based on all possible problems they might have to fix.

So, I am into them for $100 dollars and still don't have my data. They refused to discuss, in any detail, the fact they might have misled me and basically told me the problem is because I'm not smart enough to understand their high-tech lingo.

They are holding my life hostage and their word is clearly not "gold."
