Cannot Guarantee 1st Rankings as they Cannot Even Pay Their Vendors! Atlanta

George Rogers of SEO-Local.net contacted me about professionally laying out the content for his "turn-key" SEO service. I gave him a quote, forwarded him the work for hire agreement, which he agreed to fully, including my quote for services which he thought was pricey but worth it.

I performed the work and Mr. Rogers gave high remarks regarding the work that was performed. Mr. Rogers then proceeded to offer me an "opportunity" to do some profit sharing by placing a "site developed by" link on his site in exchange for some of my other services.

I explained to Mr. Rogers that I will discuss this opportunity further with him after he made payment, in which he stated that he would make payment on Monday, which was in two days. The agreement between myself and Mr. Rogers clearly stated that payment was due immediately upon successful completion and acceptance of the Work, which Mr. Rogers totally accepted with high remarks and offers to work further under a "profit share."

It is now time for Mr. Rogers to pay and he has not returned my emails, as his emails have been less frequent now that the work is complete and his site is up and functioning correctly. When I was working on the site, Mr. Rogers was in contact very frequently, asking for updates and sending requests. Now that it is time to pay, Mr. Rogers has only returned one email regarding payment and that was to say, he'll pay on Monday. I have contacted Mr. Rogers for payment and have yet to receive an answer.

I am writing this report to say to anyone that does business for him, be aware that you may not get paid. Also, to anyone that is looking to do business with him and SEO-Local.net, the service he offers is 100% free if you just take 3-5 minutes of your time to list your own business on Google local or Yahoo local. He's charging $99/ month offering guaranteed 1st page rankings in the local search listings when anyone can get those same listings for "FREE".

Never pay to have your site listed in Google Local or Yahoo Local when both services are free and offer best practices for you to improve your chances of showing up in the local listings. No one can guarantee that you will show up in 1st place or on the 1st page everytime in the local listings, especially not for $99/ month. Unlike traditional SEO, there are no maintenance tactics involving listings in the local listings. Its a one and done, unless you have multiple business listings to place.

Stay away from this company, as they cannot guarantee 1st page rankings anymore than they can guarantee that their vendors will get paid after delivering quality work.
