Provided a personal guarantee over electronic document form awarding a project to myself to exceed $50,000. Based off the electronic agreement all equipment was purchased and time was scheduled for work crews (who get paid regardless). I spent over 1 week working on this project just to hear at the last minute he decided to go with one of his friends instead of me. He explained to me his friend would do it for him for much cheaper and has a better relationship with him (even though I went through a grueling bidding process prior). I was reprimanded and asked to take a leave of absence after my management found out about how much money I caused my company to lose.
