Tried to make me pay a loan i never took clearwate

This company in unbelievable!!! They called my work phone so many times I have lost count. When I did talk to them they told me it was a legal dept and they were calling about a payday loan I received in 2008.
I have taken payday loans out in the past, but I knew for sure not in 2008.
I asked the name of the company that I owed, and honestly with his thick accent I could not understand who the company was that I supposedly owed 300. They actually had me doubting myself. So I told them they I would try to make good on the debt.
Well they emailed me the authorization form for payment. I said to myself this is way too basic a form coming from a legal dept. I then sent them an email
requesting the complaint in writing for my lawyer to review. The response was we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Two days later they repeatadly called my work number asking for the payment. I asked for the written documentation and they said they couldnt legally give me that. So I said, then I cannot give you anything.
That was it, David Cooper is the new name being used, he became furious
He sarting yelling this is a serious matter, and we will take you to court.
My response was, do what you have to do, you are about to get me fired for all of the phone calls. The latest call at home, threatened me with 8000-10000 fine or jail..."I will see you behind the bars, I am the King"
