Telephone cramming from Escalate Solutions

I received a charge on my phone bill for web hosting from Escalate that I never signed up for. When I called the company and talked to "Paladin", the representative, he informed me that I had signed up via a pop-up on the internet. I sell nothing, I have no company, I'm not on Facebook, I have no need for web hosting.

He refused to rescind the charge. He did cancel the service I didn't know I had. How kind. I asked for the name of the president of the company as well as the address. He gave me the address - I think it's apt that it's in Las Vegas - but said he didn't know the name of the president!

I asked for names of any of the officials; if he didn't know he could ask his supervisor. I said I'd wait. After a brief interlude, he returned and stated no one had any names of any of the officials. I'm surprised he knew the name of the company!
