What good is free if it does nothing but waste my time

Getting an e mail, I downloaded their Scan & Sweep, which promised to speed up & correct problems on my system.
It scanned beautifully & found many problems. But, to correct these problems, guess what?
You are correct. I would have to buy the software. Not me. How do I know they are doing anything for me if I can't see any results.
Give me at least 1 or 2 repair & fix operations so I can make a judgement. I will not buy a pig in a poke.
