UBCOA, Pete DePalma, Northern Leasing Of New York Instead of helping me with starting a business, helped me in leasing a credit card machine, and then dropped their assistance

I have been in contact with Legal Aide of Oklahoma. I was counseled to send a complaint to the Attorney General's office in New York. The AG's office suggested that I contact BBB of New York. I wrote them, the BBB of Oklahoma, and sent copies to the attorney at Legal Aide. I've received a letter from BBB in of Oklahoma saying that they've not heard from Pete DePalma, or UBCOA, and asking if I had. No, I have not. BBB of New York said that Northern Leasing (the credit card machine leasing company) will 'humor' me by requiring only $1400 as a buyout, and I have til May 22, '09 to do so (which, with me on SSDI, I doubt I'll ever see!). Since March of I've not been looking for any kind of continuance of this 'business' venture—just leaving this all behind as an expensive learning experience. I'm going to continue pursuing my complaint with Legal Aide til I can get some justice for myself, and others who may have been scammed by these companies and individuals. Is my credit ruined? You bet it is! Am I still needing a job? Absolutely! It looks as though I may be filing for bankrupsy yet! And probably before May 22. Give me 3 weeks!
